I thought I'd try my hand at some metalsmithing. The pair of earrings on the left were created from .030 copper sheet I bought at my local hardware store. These come in about 3" by 6" pieces and I sawed a strip off one side that's about 1/2" wide. After cutting the strip in half, shaping and smoothing the edges I textured them with my dremel, created the back and forth bends with my pliers, punched small holes in the tops and added the Sterling ear wires.

The right hand pair were created using 14ga copper wire. First I hammered them flat then textured them with my ballpien hammer. I then spiraled them around a 8mm dowel then turned both ends into a loop. Added jump rings (due to the width) and Sterling ear wires to the tops and wire wrap black glass beads to the bottoms.
